Certificates may be issued on the territory of countries:: Poland, Ireland, Ukraine.
Qualified certificates (e-signatures) remain valid throughout the European Union.
The e-ID is an identity document that has been converted to electronic form. When using a qualified electronic signature in the e-ID, a person holding such a document can make electronic signatures that are legally binding and can be recognized by public administration bodies and other entities.
The qualified electronic signature in the e-ID enables:
- Filing electronic tax returns to Tax Offices: The signatures enable safe electronic submission of tax returns to Tax Offices. This allows entrepreneurs and individuals to conveniently and quickly submit their tax data electronically, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
- Electronic submission of reports to eKRS (Electronic National Court Register): Signatures also enable electronic submission of reports to the eKRS, the Electronic National Court Register. Required documents, such as annual financial statements or other reports, can be sent electronically using a qualified signature, which significantly facilitates and accelerates the reporting process.
- Signing JEDZ documents (Uniform European Tender Document): JEDZ is a system that enables the submission of offers and the realization of public tenders in Europe. Signatures allow for the secure signing of electronic documents related to this process. This allows entrepreneurs to participate in international tenders and orders, meeting the requirements for the authenticity and integrity of the signed documents.
- Communicating within the ePUAP platform (Electronic Platform of Public Administration Services): ePUAP is a platform that enables electronic communication with offices and public institutions. Using the signatures, you can safely and legally send documents, applications, or other information to various public administration bodies via the ePUAP platform, which shortens the time and eliminates the need for physical delivery of documents.
- Signing Uniform Control Files (JPK): JPK are electronic reports containing tax data that entrepreneurs are obliged to transfer to tax authorities. Signatures allow for the legal and secure signing of these files, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of the transferred data.
- Participation in electronic auctions and tenders: Signatures provided enable participation in electronic auctions and tenders. This allows entrepreneurs to submit offers electronically, signing them using a qualified signature, speeding up bidding processes and acquiring goods or services by public institutions or companies.
- Concluding civil-law contracts electronically: Signatures also allow for the conclusion of civil-law contracts in electronic form. Thanks to this, contracts can be signed remotely, eliminating the need for a physical meeting of the parties. This is especially useful in commercial transactions or contracts concluded by individuals and businesses.
The main benefits of using a qualified electronic signature in the e-ID include:
- Authenticity and integrity of electronic documents: The qualified electronic signature ensures that electronic documents have not been changed after signing. This confirms the authenticity and integrity of the documents.
