This model is an enhanced version of the ACR1252U-M1 reader. Its advantages include extended MIFARE functionality and the addition of a SAM slot.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse it with the more basic ACR1252U-M1, which looks identical but offers fewer features.

Certified by the NFC Forum, the ACR1252U-MF operates as a 13.56 MHz contactless NFC reader for computers. It features a SAM (Secure Access Module) slot for key diversification and mutual authentication, ensuring higher transaction security. The firmware can be upgraded post-deployment without hardware modification.

The reader supports three NFC modes: reader/writer, card emulation, and peer-to-peer communication. Thanks to its MIFARE specialization, it supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE technologies (including MIFARE 7-byte UID, MIFARE Plus, and MIFARE DESFire), FeliCa, and NFC tags compliant with ISO 18092.
Transmission speeds reach up to 424 kbps, with a read range of up to 50 mm, depending on the tag type.

Compliant with CCID and PC/SC, the ACR1252U-MF offers plug-and-play integration with various systems and applications. It is ideal for payment card systems, user identification, and loyalty solutions based on MIFARE technology.
